One or two connections might be coincidence. This systematic pattern raises serious questions.

Jeffrey Epstein cultivated a broad network of wealthy and powerful people. Many prominent figures had connections to him, and having such a connection does not imply knowledge of or participation in his crimes. But what makes Trump's situation distinctive is not that people in his circle had Epstein connections; it is the concentration of those connections in positions of government power, and Trump's extreme opposition to transparency about them.

The prosecutor who gave Epstein a lenient plea deal became Trump's Labor Secretary. The man whose father hired Epstein at a private school became Trump's Attorney General. Two of Epstein's defense attorneys joined Trump's impeachment team. Trump's Commerce Secretary lied about visiting Epstein's island. His chief strategist exchanged hundreds of friendly texts with Epstein. And the current Attorney General, who failed to investigate Epstein as Florida AG, now controls all federal Epstein files and has been surveilling Congress members who search them.

One connection might be coincidence. This systematic pattern demands explanation.
